Maksakov Rodilsya Maksakov’s biography in the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk in a family of seamen. The family moved to Tallinn, when Artem was 5 years old. It is remarkable that in a sort anybody never danced, and Artem showed exactly so much eagerness to dances, the ordinary child how many shows. I.e. a limit of possibilities it was to be trampled by feet in a step, to be twisted on a place and all – any special dancing talents in the childhood it was not seen. Maksakov loved music, in particular classical works more. Practically everything exchanged, when future dancer defined in a class with a dancing bias in Tallinn.

The best parties Ponachalu Maksakov acted in corps de ballet and received small supporting roles in the ballet. The role of the Nutcracker Prince that was very much at once for the young dancer became the first terrible party. As it appeared, this role was only the first in a train of very terrible parties which trusted in young Maksakov. Generally all these roles clockwork, expressional and brisk, just are well matched for character of the dancer. The Estonian audience perfectly remembers Basel in "Quixote", d’Artagnan in «Three musketeers», Siegfried in «The swan lake» and Maksakov’s many other beautiful parties. Fans of the ballet always bribed excellent usual training, rare staginess and ability completely to be given to dance and organically to live in it Artem Maksakov.
